Our First Ordination Service
Consecration and Commissioning. Great Emerge Church gathers online to set apart leaders for the work of ministry, with Presiding Apostle Dr. Tavis Taylor presiding. As a digital house, we ordain through public affirmation, prayer, a scriptural charge, and formal appointment.
I. Public Affirmation
The house affirms the calling and character of each candidate.
II. Prayer
Leadership and congregation pray over the candidates.
III. Scriptural Charge
Each candidate receives a charge from the Word.
IV. Formal Appointment
The presiding apostle appoints each to their office.
And when they had ordained them elders in every church, and had prayed with fasting, they commended them to the Lord.

Great Emerge Church is a global apostolic ministry founded and led by Dr. Tavis Taylor. We gather at the altar, disciple through the RAS Recode, and commission believers to emerge into the assignment God ordained for their lives.

We believe transformation is both a spiritual mandate and a neurological reality. The Word renews the mind. The Spirit awakens the assignment. The house commissions the believer.
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind.
